Dan Tootill is an aspiring songwriter / producer with a love of all things with a keyboard. Inspired by such artists as Bowie, Jarre, Depeche Mode and New Order, his music is often moody and expressive with a dark edge. Dan gained the majority of his musical experience by remixing SID tunes; the title of his first original CD 'Infinite Lives' is a coy reflection of this.
'Crestfallen' was inspired by the overwhelming feeling of loss; when something that feels like a part of you is missing and you have no choice but to accept that you have to go on without. When a disaster happens, everything you hold close to your heart can be snatched away from you in the blink of an eye; but eventually hope can and will prevail.
