Chrysalid: Musicians for Katrina Relief CD is a project organized by coalition of international musicians using their art to raise funds in support of the victims of hurricane Katrina.

mystahr has been creating music since the early 80's where from cutting tape and an adjacent record-player born a DJ that professionally played the bigger Dutch clubs in the 90's. Two years ago now, he found the finances to finally build a small home studio which from that point only grew and still is growing.
His tunes are widely varied, but the common note mostly is of an experimental and explorative nature. With a love for noise and for ambient, purity of sound prevails over synchronization and beats per minute. Another love is that of analog electronic equipment from the 60's-80's which is cause for the biggest growth in his studio.
And as varied his tunes, so is his personal taste; from Tangerine Dream to Amon Tobin, from Robby Wyatt to Goldfrapp. Amongst the KVR community are many of his inspirations/friends, of which vurt has the biggest influence.
"To the Rain" is a track of dedication and love. The building blocks on which new beginnings are conceived; mystahr offered this track from the heart in the hopes that New Orleans and all its surroundings may be rebuild on the very same foundations of love and dedication.
