Chrysalid: Musicians for Katrina Relief CD is a project organized by coalition of international musicians using their art to raise funds in support of the victims of hurricane Katrina.

IIRs started learning the violin aged 4 (musical family!) but ditched it in favour of electric guitar when hormones kicked in as a teenager. He gigged extensively with the Sheffield band "Elfin" for a few years, while earning extra cash mixing live sound, but recently he's been concentrating on honing his production skills, and currently earns his keep programming MIDI and editing audio. He loves tweaking synths and designing sounds, and fully appreciates the enormous power of a modern DAW, but still thinks you can't beat the sound of a good instrument in the hands of a good player...
